Title
Alleyway off Churchway
Description
An aerial view down to Churchway, Somers Town, with groups of people who have gathered in the alleyway for the photographer. The three main groups seem to comprise men and boys at the front with women and girls in the two rear groups. One woman stands on her own at a doorway. Some laundry hangs on lines across the alleyway, which is lit by a single projecting lantern. The buildings have been replaced or substantially rebuilt.
