Description
A view of the front elevation of shop and office buildings at 42-50 Old Bond Street, Mayfair, and the corner with Piccadilly. The ground-floor of the corner building at 48-50 has the airline Qantas to the left and Ciro pearls to the right. Between them is a decorated entrance. Further along is a branch of National Westminster Bank. The corner building of five main storeys plus attic is seven bays wide in the Old Bond Street elevation. The Portland stone facade is decorated with Jacobean designs. Traffic is heading south on Old Burlington Street. Dating from 1905, number 48-50 Old Bond Street including 57-59 Piccadilly was Grade II listed in 1971; listing number 1265704.
