Description
A view of the front elevation of a shop and office building at 48-50 Old Bond Street, Mayfair, at the corner with Piccadilly. The ground-floor has the airline Qantas to the left and Ciro pearls to the right. Between them is a decorated entrance. The building of five main storeys plus attic is seven bays wide in the Old Bond Street elevation. The Portland stone facade is decorated with Jacobean designs. Three cars are stopped at the traffic lights, one with a French registration, a BMC 1100 with registration number SUC400F and a Bentley S3 saloon with registration number 580CGF. Dating from 1905, number 48-50 Old Bond Street including 57-59 Piccadilly was Grade II listed in 1971; listing number 1265704.
