Title
Guy Fawkes' House in Upper Fore Street
Description
Guy Fawkes House in Upper Fore Street, Lambeth, in a state of dereliction. Despite its name, Guy Fawkes never lived there, although he visited the house, as it was leased by Rober Catesby and used as a base and store by those involved in the Gunpowder Plot of 1605. The house had a frontage onto the river. A man in a top hat stands in front of the building. The house and Upper Fore Street no longer exist; they were demolished to make space for the Albert Embankment.
