Description
View of the rear elevation and lawned garden of Dixcot, a detached house at 8 North Drive, Streatham, looking north. Dixcot was built in 1901 by the architect Charles Voysey as a family home in the Arts and Crafts style. At some point it became a children’s home, when the London County Council (LCC) operated a Special Home for Girls, aged 11 to 15 years old. The house is now once again a private residential property. The house is Grade II* listed, listing number 1065512.
