Description
View of a terrace of Grade II listed shops and offices with flats above at 662 to 670 High Road, Tottenham, looking east (entry numbers 1358832, 1188865, 1079239 and 1079240 respectively) along with the former showroom of Robert Chidley Limited Rootes Group car dealership at number 660. Shops include branches of Moores of Tottenham, mopeds and generators, at 662 and at 668, together with a stationers and office furnishers, all appearing in vacant possession. The renovated, Moore House at 664 and 666 contains the offices of United Friendly Insurance Co. Limited, additionally, number 666 has an estate agent's board of Normans Stanley Partners, fixed to the wall. The dealership has since been demolished and replaced by a mixed-use development of shops and flats named Tom Dove Place. Vehicles parked on the street include a Hillman Hunter and a Talbot Avenger Estate.
