Description
View of the flank wall of a three-storey with basement house at 869 High Road, Tottenham, looking south. The Georgian period house is one of a pair (with 867) of Grade II listed buildings, listing number 1079211. The brick wall has had a patch repair and the former side accessway demolished and barricaded with a hoarding. A hoarding on the wall advertises Ovaltine featuring farm produce on scales and the slogan 'helps put back what the day takes out'. A Wolseley 6/90 can be seen parked next to the side door. The doorway has since been bricked up and the area in front, subsumed by a vehicle access road and pavement to a superstore sited at the rear of the property.
