Description
Frontal view of Chatham House at 10 St James's Square, Westminster. It is a four-storey terraced townhouse with basement, with a brick facade, built in 1736 by Henry Flitcroft and Benjamin Timbrell. It is Grade I listed, listing number 126439. The building entrance has two Georgian obelisks made in stone with oil lamp holders. The panelled door is surrounded by fluted pilasters and a straight pediment, and there is a wrought-iron balcony and four piano nobile windows on the first floor and sash windows on second and third floors. There is a person on a window on third floor.
