Description
View of Phipps Bridge Road, Mitcham. Hoardings along the road guard a vacant site. A short row of semi-detached houses is visible beyond the site and a saloon car is parked in front. Two tower blocks on the Phipps Bridge Estate are in the distance but these were demolished in the 1990s. The vacant site is now allotments and a pre-school nursery. Phipps Bridge Road lies within the Wandle Valley Conservation Area.
