Title
King's Head Cottage in The Ridgeway
Description
Front elevation of King's Head Cottage, The Ridgeway, Mill Hill. It shows a small timber clad, pantile roofed cottage, at a considerably lower level than the modern road. It has a timber front door, a ground floor casement window with wooden shutters and a semi-dormer window, above. There is a large chimney which looks in need of repair. The cottage was associated with the large pub of the same name which was pulled down c1945. The site has been completely redeveloped and is now part of a modern house called Kingshead.
