Canister Lodge in Forty Hill
Description
A view of the front elevation of Canister Lodge, a grand house at 29 Forty Hill, Enfield. The locally-listed house has two storeys and is four windows wide, each of these being contained in a blind arch at the full height, rendered in white to contrast with the brick facade. The main door is held in a brick-built central projection with a further door at far left. A brick wall and double gates separate the house from the pavement. The front drive is edged with flower beds and there is a mature, leafless tree. The house still exists.
