Title
House in Chase Side
Description
A view of the front elevation of a house at 87 Chase Side, Enfield. The house is six windows wide and two storeys high with an off-centre porch on columns in front of the front door. The facade is rendered and the house sits behind a low brick wall that separates the front garden from the pavement. A plaque records that writer Charles Lamb (1775-1834) lived in number 87 from 1827 to 1829. Probably dating from the early nineteenth century, 87 Chase Side was Grade II listed in 1974; listing number 1188669.
