Description
A view of the front elevation of a modest nineteenth century gatehouse, South Lodge on Beggar's Hollow, Clay Hill, Enfield. The house has two storeys, the top being in the steeply sloping roof. The roof has elaborate bargeboards and the tiling includes a fishscale design. The front door is under a gabled porch. Mature trees grow around and the house is seen behind railings. Dating from the early to mid nineteenth century, South Lodge was Grade II listed in 1976; listing number 1358752.
