Description
A view of the front elevation of the former Charles Lamb Institute in Church Street, Edmonton. The building of one and two storeys was constructed in collegiate Tudor style and decorated with buttresses and towers. It was named after the English essayist and poet Charles Lamb (1775 - 1824), who lived in Church Street. Several pedestrians can be seen on the pavement. Dating from 1908, the Charles Lamb Halls were Grade II listed in 1973; listing number 1078914. The building is now used by the New Covenant Church.
