Lodge Cottage in Nether Street
Description
View from sideway of Lodge Cottage, 361 Nether Street, Finchley. Formerly the lodge to Elm Grange, a large house demolished after World War II, it is Grade II listed, listing number 1359093. Dating from the early nineteenth century, it has three gables, carved barge boards, ornate chimneys and shaped slates. An untidy collection of TV aerials protrudes from one gable. There is a low single-storey extension with the same tiles as the main structure. There is a side gate in the wooden fence and a metal gate post is at the end of the sideway. Modern post-war housing intrudes on the right.
