Description
Front and side elevations of a substantial detached house at 5 Linnell Close, Hampstead Garden Suburb. The house has two storeys plus dormered attic and is symmetrical about the front door. It is five windows wide. A tall chimney stack rises over the side elevation. Dating from the early-twentieth century and designed by Michael Frank Wharlton Bunney (1873-1927) and Clifford Copeman Makins (1876-1963), the house was Grade II listed in 1965; listing number 1359091. The street was named after John Linnell (1792-1820), the artist and patron of William Blake.
