Description
A view of Hendon Way, Hampstead, facing north between Lyndale and Cricklewood Lane. The picture is taken near Hocroft Road and shows rough ground that has been cleared in preparation for the construction of Hendon way. A fence with a concrete base is visible at the right of the picture. In the distance are rows of semi-detached houses. On the skyline the large gothic building with a roof turret and four towers is Childs Hill Primary School. It still exists, though the towers have been removed.
