Title
Buildings in Finchley Road
Description
View of buildings on the west side Finchley Road, Golders Green. The building at the left is a Metropolitan Water Board valve house; it still exists as part of a car wash operation. In the centre is a glazed building housing a garden centre of G. Pocock & Sons. Outside is a BMC Mini van belonging to a florist. Railings surround the area in front of the business. The building no longer exists and the land is occupied by a car park. To the right, the side and front elevations of a house at 4 Golders Green Crescent can be seen. The house appears to be the surviving half of a pair of semi-detached houses at numbers 2 and 4. It still exists. Two women can be seen on the pavement.
