View of Millers shoe shop and garage offices, at 832 to 836 Uxbridge Road, Hayes, looking north across the junction with Church Road. The gable-roofed shoe shop features striped awnings over the front windows, including the single-storey side extension between the two buildings, and a sign advertising 'K shoes'. The double-fronted two-storey offices of a garage business at 836 has a hipped roof, Crittall metal framed windows, and a simple timber door with a transom light and flat canopy, supported by brackets, above. Legion House, a parade of shops with offices above, can be seen far left, seen under either under reconstruction or renovation with scaffolding covering the flank wall. The offices have since been demolished and redeveloped with a housing development, Fig Court, with the garage occupying premises at the rear. The shop still exists . Vehicles visible on the eastbound carriageway include a Volvo Series 1, an Austin 1800, a Vauxhall Viva HA seen speeding past a parked Vauxhall Victor FD. A pedestrian can be seen walking past the shop's side entrance.
