The buildings on both sides on the far side of the junction are Grade II listed under numerous listing numbers, along with the two K6 telephone boxes, seen next to the post office (entry 1358408), and the gateway to the churchyard, far right, entry 1080142. The church is Grade II* listed, listing number 1180516. Vehicles seen travelling past the shops include a Morris Minor 6cwt van, London double-decker buses including a route 224a Routemaster on its way to the terminus at Uxbridge station, a Morris LD van, a delivery bicycle with rider, and a helmetless man with a pillion on a moped travelling in the direction of the car park. Pedestrians and shoppers can be seen on the pavement on both sides of the road.
