Description
Side elevation of Hill Farm in Orchard Close, Hillingdon. A timber-framed farmhouse built in the eighteenth century, and painted white. The house has two storeys, and an attic room; a window of which is situated in the gable-end. The roof has clay tiles, and the windows are sash with glazing bars. A later ground-floor bay window extension on the left has French doors, leading to the garden. The farming family Ewers tenanted the 230-acre working farmhouse between 1814 until the 1920s.
