Description
Tooke’s Folly, part of Pinner Hill Farm, Pinner, a Grade II listed building. Photograph taken in farmyard. The clock-towered stable commissioned by Arthur Tooke in 1862 forms part of the farmyard which consisted of a tack room, hay loft and the top floor of unknown purpose. It is composed of red, blue and brown brick tower with ancillary barn to south with French architectural motifs in the roof area. Plain pilasters to upper stage with lancets and decorative panel to north front. Slate roof with swept hips and clock on north side. Decorative-finials and cresting to ridge. Two vehicles parked, one a lorry from the firm Northwood Plant Ltd.
